Outlet Mall Shopping and Wine Experiences!

Good day from the sunny south!!!!!

Here are some random photo's of our visit to John's Pass :

Before I bore you with our outlet mall experience, I thought I'd share with you our wine experience from yesterday.  Since we don't have enough wine in our condo to begin with, we decided to go to the ABC Liquor store to see what bargains could be had.  Well let me tell you....there were many!  We ended up getting 6 bottles for $30!  At home these would have cost us well over $75!!!!!  e.g.  Ravens Wood for $5.99??????  Really??????

From the ABC store, we headed back to our condo for dinner.  But, had to make a side trip to another liquor store up the street from our condo that we discovered on our 2 hour walk.  They were having a wine tasting.  So, we felt obliged to go!  They had about 10 wines to sample.  Yes, we tried them all.  Small tastes though so don't worry!  We bought a bottle of the Sterling Savignon Blanc for much less than it would have cost us at home as well.  Not that it is all about getting cheap wine, but it is so nice to get these wines at what we consider bargain prices!  We made it home for a chicken stir fry and some wine!

On our return home from our 2 hour walk earlier in the day, we ran into a jelly fish and a fun little bird :

Also walked by a pub that we aren't really sure if we should try :

Today we decided to go to the Ellenton Outlet Mall.  We drove over the Sunshine Skyway bridge to get there.  Amazing views!!!!!!!!

Great bargains to be had again.  e.g.  I got a Nine West purse regularly priced at $80 for $18!  An Under Armour running shirt for $7.99!  Tommy Hilfiger shirts for $6.99!  It goes on and on!!!!!!

Upon leaving the outlet mall (after 7 hours!), we stumbled upon an outlet Liquor Store.  We had to stop!!!!!  Another 5 bottles for less than $30.  We better start drinking quicker so we can make a dent in the wine we bought!

Tomorrow Mark and Denise are coming back to visit.  They've been in Miami since Tuesday and are staying with us Saturday night in preparation for their flight home on Sunday.

Weather has still been great.  A bit cloudy, but still better than snow!  Rain is coming in tonight and into tomorrow morning but then clear skies return!!!!!!

We'll keep you posted!

I'm a bit concerned about my husband in this picture....just thought I'd share it with you to see if you had the same concerns :
